The story is, a few months ago I was driving around with my dad and we saw an identical vette, and I said  "Wow dad, what a COOL car..."
he said "If you graduate with honors, I'll buy you one"
Of course I didnt believe him (dad aint rich) and we both laughed like YEAH RIGHT, as if it was a joke.

Today I get home and he tells me to go get him something in the garage. When I get inside, there is this shiny car with a note on the windshield

yeah I love the car. But trust me I worked very, very hard to get out of a lot of toejam (can you spell, troubled youth??)

The car is just a trophy for my first big victory in life  

And no, I didnt grow up with everything, faaaaar from it. But then again, I'm glad it was that way. And I am actually begining to realize my dad wanted the car as much as I did; I am just an excuse for his wife to buy it  
Hes been driving it much more than I have been. Damn that midlife crisis :/
