I'm going thru Aces High burn-out. Just over 1 hour online since Sunday and very little time in the TA. Trying to analyze myself here, and I've come to the conclusion of this:

-No "new" maps in Main arena, we have 2 now.
-No "User-created" historical maps for Snap Shots, Check six's (Yes, I'm aware its a time consuming process to get these bug-checked)
-No new updates for awhile.
-No new Strat.

My apologies to the Knits for not being there with ya during some of our more infamous raids we've done in the past.

Hopefully, the fire will start burning inside me again some day.

I might add that I'm enjoying the hell out of CFS2 once again! Damn, that F4F Wildcat is a squeak against Betty's!

Same thing here Rip. I'm really disappointed the map selections are so anemic. And, if you nominate a map to HTC, they seem really leery about accepting it for consideration....why, I dont know. Nuttz has made some nice maps, as have others.

I've been doing a bit more tanking as of late, as a change of pace. Mitsu's new sounds for the panzer is fantastic.

Dunno what to tell you, I didnt play at all last night and I was going to play this afternoon at lunch and said "baah, maybe later".

If you find a cure, let me know, maybe we can arrange for a group of us to get counseling! hehe

Will do LePaul! I never got burned out on Warbirds, it was connects and HT's product that combined to drive me over here...this is new territory for me.

H2H arenas Rip, whenever I get tired of the MA I go to H2H. I did this last night and went to two seperate arenas.. the first one was using the Luzon terrain with P38s/F4Us vs N1K2s and A6M5bs...

I took off in a Zero and got 4 kills.. 3 P38s and a F4U... then was discoed from that server upon landing.

Went to Zapkin's FFA server using the Norway terrain and had a lot of fun there.

Those two terrains were a lot of fun to fly and fight over... you should try it Rip, usually I have a lot of fun in there.

Hey Rip. Take an hour or two off, then you can come back fresh.

(seriously, take a week or two off. I do it all the time, and it's always like the first time coming back - you find yourself just flying and looking around)

Rip I took time off and decided that I will only go online now when I realy want to. This keeps the burn out away. In the month I was away I learned that If I couldnt get only it was worse then not wanting to play at all.

Heh, I decided to not play any games until the CM terrain team has the ETO and the Philippines scenario terrains "in the can".

Rip, if you play the same game every night for 2 years, it's natural to get bored. I've been playing Combat Mission, NHL 2000, and catching up on my reading.

Same here Rip...

Spend some extra time with Geeman, Download some jets to CFS2 and try to kill Zekes with them. Sounds easy but its not

(that FAF's Hawk is from here, There's lots of high quality planes and panels for them)
