16 on the deck is a monster!

8 anywhere anytime is my favourite of the bunch.

Flew the new 14 recently and was shocked as I landed a ton o kills and realized I wasn't in the 16. Much better than it was before!

I see people bashing the 16 on 200 all the time. So guy last night said that a 16 was a easy kill for him. I pm him and said lets go to the da and see. Gave him a 5k alt advantage with his f4u he died 3 times. The he jumped in a spit 9 co alt he died 3 times. I know he is a great stick just as good as me but the 16 makes the difference. I think that newbs will never be a threat in a 16 our in that case any plane. So just because you see a 16 out in the middle with no one around but you and 2 other countryman beware!

SkyRock got me in the Spit 5, it is now my preferred ride over anything in the MA.

Everything about spits is easy. As a fighter pilot, on a scale of 10, I'm probably about a 4.5,  and even I find spits boring

I am just happy to be 5 and 65 or at least thats what if feels like...Geez you guys are stepping into the noodle envy world too much. Start reading your junk email and I am sure that you can find something that will help you will "male enhancement". And its alot more tangible that sitting here complaining that you were drunk and your girlfriend was on your rear to get you to go to bed and thats the only reason I lost.

My subscription to AH dates back 4 yrs + and add to that another 5 yrs in AW. Oddly enough I've never been prone to fly Spits. Why? Who knows but I haven't. Add to that the fact that at best, I'm a mediocre pile-it with a k/d average of 1.0 or less. My gunnery sucks even worse. Why I keep forkin' over $15@mo is beyond me but now my curiousity is up with this Spit 16 uber-business.

Can any of you provide a short list of do's & don'ts for this bird?

Spits are one of my favorite historical planes. Yet, I don't fly them much for the same reason I don't fly them Temp - it feels dirty when I out-everything my opponent.

Killing a spit in a knife fight with a P47 is just so much more rewarding than killing a P47 with a spit. Still, there's nothing wrong with flying Spits if that is your cup of tea. Screw the La7 dweebs who call you a spitdweeb.

For the 16 haters - just a small hit on the fuel on their base will disable DT. Since almost no one knows how to manage their fuel, 16s will have super short legs. But it's not like the 8 with the better range is much less of a plane.

spit 16 is a dweeb plane, they fly them like zeros. I used to fly them but i kinda grew out of it. i kept turnin and breakin the thing.  Its not a bad plane but its just so corny.  And then u barely got enuff cannon to really get busy. It rolls and turns thats it.  theres better plane out there.  If u take any the 16 wat would the dweebies fly?
