So I'm always looking for good driving music and was wondering what you guys got on this topic.  Stuff I've already settled on is basically anything by ZZ Top, Radar Love works pretty well, so does Running Down a Dream by Tom Petty.  Thoughts?

You're gonna think this is funny, but eminem is fairly entertaining driving music.  A lot of his stuff is regular rap but some of it is actually decent if you don't take it too seriously.  If taken as entertainment and not a social statement, it's sort of fun to listen to.

I can't stand 99.9999% of rap but eminem is often funny and entertaining.  Seeing some of his videos helps too since then you get to see that some of his songs are "just funnin" and not just some white guy shouting obscenities.

Other stuff I bring on trips and listen to in the car...
Van Halen
Tom Petty
Rush
3 doors down
green day
genesis / phil collins
creed
collective soul
the cars
blink 182
garth brooks
GnR
Matchbox 20
Men at work
Metallica (yea definately metallica!)
R.E.M.
Smashing Pumpkins
Sting

Well, Darude's "Sandstorm" got me pulled over doing 90 in a 55 the second day I had my license...  Guess that makes it a pretty good one...  But kinda been done to death over the years.

Nothing beats oldschool Metallica.
Do not attribute to malice what can be easily explained by incompetence, fear, ignorance or stupidity, because there are millions more garden variety idiots walking around in the world than there are blackhearted Machiavellis.

Yeah, nothing except for everything else.

I like Comeback Kid.  It pumps me up and for some odd reason, I always get to my destinations faster.
