I agree, maybe only 15 minutes of night time would be sweet.  At least Lancs would be more usefull.

Same with me, trying to discern targets during dusk/dawn gives me a splitting headache even with gamma jacked-up. I either just do the AA gunnery thingy or log-off...I never fly between 5pm to 7am game-clock time...

I don't know how the clock works or how long a 'day' is but it seems that when I log on at my most convienent time, around 3pm Pac time, it seems to always be either close to sunset or sunrise.

My old tired eyes have a very hard time fighting in those lighting conditions and I too find myself manning ground guns or GV's then.

Maybe a faster transition from dawn to say 10am and 4pm to dusk would help but, OTOH, I don't mind the nighttime as we last had it in the MA.

I didn't even know there WAS a moon. I would like to occasionally see night. A few more clouds and maybe some other effects. Don't know what other effects because I don't know what could be available except wind.

The sun, the sun, I hate the sun in my eyes every dang flight.

Leave it high noon or cycle 24 hours.

My experience is that when I log in at 9 PM eastern, the sun is always on the horizon... Always. It's a giant pain in the neck. Indeed, the sun is HUGE, but somehow gets completely blocked by the thinest cockpit frame. Go figure. Basically, the sun obscures an arc of about 45 degrees, which is far too much, unless we're flying on Mercury.

Ha, ditto Wide!  I wondered if that was just me, always logging on at dusk/dawn and it being that way for hours.

They have been doing some night missions in the Snapshot flights lately and they kick butt!

I wish they had the Maps & Night flights in the MA also, they are incredible

LMAO I cuncur.
I log on around the same time and it seems Im always headed into the sun.

The sun BTW is IMO the most accurately modeled thing in the game.
I wish either they would do something a bit differentlywith it. Or HTC would start paying for the bottles of Excedrin for the skull splitting headaches it gives me just like the real one does.

Or at least let the clipboard block it out.
you cant fight with the thing up anyway and you cant move it around while in a fight to constantly block the sun while in a fight.
So the only place it helps you is the trip to or from. when if your like me you arent doing much  else other then looking at the clipboard map anyway.
