Yeah how incredibly suspicious a kid wearing a bandana on his face on a college compass is!

It’s not like kids in college ever do silly things on a college campus! That simply inconceivable!!

The guys running around in togas must be terrorist cult members! Hopefully the ATF guys will just shoot those freaks in the head!

wonder how many illegal aliens the ATF agents tripped over to get to that scumball student.  No.... better yet... wonder how many employers of illegal aliens the agents deal with every day and ignore the fact that they are criminals.

Aside from the obvious ****ups like ruby ridge and waco the ATF oversteps its bounds in other ways. Law enforcement acencies don't get to legislate, that power lies with the legislative branch.

However, the ATF constantly reinterprets existing gun laws to mean what they see fit. Guns that were legal years ago are now banned or regulated simply because the ATF changed thier mind on them. The SPAS-12 and other shotguns are considered "destructive devices." Where a decade of so ago they were prefectly legal. If you look up the siaga-12 forum you'll see how many people are afraid of <8 round mags being available. If I high capacity magazine is avalable for thier shotgun the ATF may reclassify it also as a destructive device.

Look at what happened to parts kits. For years parts kits were perfectly legal to import and build rifles (that are otherwise banned from import.) However, the ATF recently decided that kits could no longer be imported with barrels. Was there some new law passed? Nope, the ATF simply changed thier mind on the whole thing.

Hell, these guys decided a SHOESTRING counts as a MACHINEGUN!

It's burried deep in the first sentance of the article:

Folks, this is a very good point.
Comrads we must act on this immediately. I propose an immediate BAN on all bandanas and other assorted swaths of the cloth nature.

Guys,

You are missing the point. Guns don't kill people, Ninjas kill people and Ninjas with Guns would kill more people than ever, hence ATFs quick and limited response to the possibly armed Ninja threat in a school zone. Also, since letters from Senators from California have conclusively proved that at present the greatest threat to our border patrol agents is terrorists with .50 caliber rifles bought at US gunshows, ATF is no doubt on alert that these same terrorists might try to heighten their current terror potential by seeking to obtain both Ninja and Pirate skills via training at college campuses to whit:

"Jeremiah Ransom, a sophomore from Macon, was leaving a Wesley Foundation pirate vs. ninja event when he was detained."

So these agents where probably thinking, "Hey look there goes a Jihadi who has just completed Ninja training, he's running to a gunshow to illegallly buy a .50 Caliber rifle with which he'll be able to easily take out border agents from here. Either that or its a great excuse to practice kneeling on the neck of some young punk. That's what I call win-win. Of course, if he had some donuts that would be a trifecta."

All they did was detain him, and they had more than enough PC to do so.

I used to detain a dozen people a day and it never made the news, but none of them were ninjas. Is there a racisim against ninja theme here? will ninjas rally in the streets? will Jessie Jackson appeal for calm while wearing a ninja outfit?

Seagoon, when you slip on your sarcasm suit, you are one hugely entertaining writer.

I just re read the whole Ruby ridge story on Crime library.

You can find it here.

This is the punishment the FBI deemed was worthy for the men responsible for the Murder of two U.S. citizens by the government

Federal prosecutors eventually ended a two-year long probe into several FBI officials for their role in the Ruby Ridge standoff.  Following the investigation, Danny Coulson, former head of FBI headquarters, was given a letter of censure; Michael Kahoe, who had been involved in researching the rules of engagement, was censured and suspended for 15 days; Richard Rogers, head of the hostage rescue team, was censured and suspended for 10 days; Larry Potts, the man who had approved the rules of engagement, was censured; Eugene Glenn, Ruby Ridge field commander, was censured and suspended for 15 days, and Lou Horiuchi, the HRT "Blue" sniper/observer team leader, received no punishment for his actions, which resulted in the death of Vicki Weaver.

If you have not read the link do so, even if you are not a gun person, you should see just what your federal government is capable of doing to innocent citizens.
Before I read it the first time I thought Randy Weaver was just some nut job.  I still think he is a bit nutty, but that was not against the law. He most certainly did not deserve to have his son and wife murdered over it.
