Why?

"Mighty Duck" on the Stanley Cup.  What could be better?

Welcome to the club, if temporarily. :)

Going downtown tonight to watch the game at the Dunn Tire Park on their jumbotron(Baseball stadium). HUGE tailgating party going on. Thousands of people. Samething is going to happen tomorrow. Buffalo has gone hockey crazy.

I don't think it's that as much as people realizing that the Sabres are playing very well and want to support them.

If they continue like this, Sabres have a good shot at winning the cup!

(be real interesting to see what happens tonight between Sens@Sabres. It's a MUST WIN for Sens. Alfredson has to get it in gear this game.
He had a couple dazzling moments in game 1 but looked mediocre in game 2)

We are going to see Ottawa at their best tonight. Can't wait to see how this all plays out:O

Sadly the Sabres are a bandwagon team here. People from around here are die-hard Bills fans. Even if they dont admit it. So when the Sabres start doing good alot of people jump on. Especially when the Bills dont make it into the playoffs and have little chance of turning around in the near future. Bandwagon or long-term fan, the more the better for the community.

Commentators talked about the above goal during first intermission: Considered the best photo in all sport. Bobby Orr 36 years ago tonight scoring the Stanley Cup winning goal.

I've seen him play a whole bunch of times and can't think of anyone who even compares.
