All you have to do is drive around.  Just the basics.  Plus backing up.

Well, thankfully the Navy will pay for the education part. Did the practice items, especially straight backing up. Thankfully Honda's are cheap to finance and operate.

If you have a pulse the DMV practically throws a DL at you.  Atleast in NC.  The roads are proof of this practice.
