Fighter Town ver2 map

Here is version 2 of FT
Peaks have been moved so airfields are now 10 mile apart
and mountain range to 40000ft so no bombers.  But can be altered to any height
possible to create holes for airfield towns so airfields can never be captured
but better idea would be to put them all on the mountain range at a very high  alt of say 60000ft

looks like it would be a really fun map!:aok maybe 60,000ft is a little much though, 15 or 20 is more than enough, but wow, you make that into a map it'll be loved by all:aok

Nah, keep the 60k, make a map where there's not even the slightest hope to capture the field and maybe after a few days of trying they'll figure out it's impossible and we'll have our Super FT :)

The only thing that would make it better is if it were an early war/slow plane area only.

Even if HT were to go for this idea ... I don't think that he would want 3 fields per country hidden behind those mountains ... he might, and I emphsize might, look at it with 1 field per country.

If a bunch of tards get together and take both bases you will never be able to take them back and you know the fun assasins tards will up a 100+ plane mission and take both other bases prolly the first day the map is up

great idea every map should have a fighter town

I suppose one base per country is ok because if the field can never be captured then there is no sense in trying.  The only down side is bombers could try and take out hangers leaving a side to twiddle their thumbs for 15mins or so but sides will still have the abilities to defend because of the VH will still be there.
But if the sky was full of fighters then bombers wouldn't make the five mile mark
The other choice to make is what size to make the bases sm mid large?

Put the towns on top of the 60,000 ft peaks, they don't have to be next to the field. Then no one could capture them.

Might as well make it 120,000

Cool looking map. I'm 90% for anything that will protect the sanctity of FT. However, on a recent FT map, Rooks had someone (knights?) down to four airfields. Three of those bases would have been very difficult to capture w/out troops anywhere nearby and the other country trying to stop the rooks from capturing (rooks were fighting two countries over the same base)

The problem was solved by capturing the FT base, and everyone (ok maybe not everyone) thought it was cool. While Capturing FT is lame in most instances, when it decides a reset I think it's a valid strategy.  I'm sure the knights (or whoever) were glad to be out of that corner. I didnt hear one complaint.
