Russian - sorry for what happened to you thread, but note that at 5:50pm GMT, I merely answered Lazs's comments in a civilised way. The personal attacks began in the next post which, as you can see, was not mine. I am now unsubscribing from this thread. Hope you enjoy the gun show.

Beetle,

Short answer, no. I also wouldn't consider a visit to make any change in opinions either. I would not expect a visit to your country to provide anything different, unless of course you are not an expert in britain, are not a true example of a british citizen / subject (whichever term you prefer to use) and have not been providing this forum with a true representation of british mores and opinion.

My remarks are frankly based on the shining example of britishness that you represent and your comments. Obviously you are the leading expert in britishness on the forum here and your examples and posts lead me to rather plain opinions which I have posted.

If nothing else I figure someone should respond to you and voice opinions of your country in much the same manner as you respond to folks from this country and show your disdain for it.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Russian, I hope the Antioch show is better then the San Jose one. It was pretty lame when I went to one a few months ago. No one was selling surplus ammo or ammo at a decent price. There were more dealers selling trinkets then guns. Was a big disappointment.

Thanks for reply.
I think I'll skip this then.

Maybe someday, we can get our O'Club group to Navada.

It works great.  No malfunctions.  The sights are a bit off, and will require adjustment.  Once I figured out how to compensate for the sights, I put the last 40 rounds within a 5" circle.  I bought the front sight adjustment tool and will get it zeroed next time out.
Next purchase is pistolet makarova.  :)

beet... you are proof that visiting somewhere...even for years... does not mean that you know anything at all about the place or it's people.

Guns have been around for more than 100 years before 1920 and even after 1920 you could own em and defend yourself with em..

why lie about it?  you lost your right... It matters not if you didn't care about it in the past or don't care about it at this moment.... if you wanted a gun next week..... you couldn't...

you have given away your rights and/or had them taken from you and nothing you say can change that..  It is illegal for you to own and keep much less carry, a firearm.... nothing you say can change that.  Your government will throw you in prison if you ever decide to exercise your human right to arm yourself.

Beetle, I was wondering if you would please do me the honor of presenting why, exactly, you think the 2nd Amendment came to be?  And, I suppose, why it still exists?

Feel free to post a link to a previous post if you'd like, or just copy it here, or come up with something fresh.  I'm not picky.

I have my own opinions on the importance of the 2nd Amendment (I think it could be very well argued that it is the most important one), but I'd just like to hear yours.

I'm not trying to personal attack you, but it's just that when a gun control thread pops up (which I don't generally follow since I don't own a gun anyway), you're usually a guy who seems to pop up against firearms.
