In Air Warrior you could fly your Korean era jet back through time (i.e. off the map) and into the WWII arena (and even, I believe, back onto the WWI arena). I remember blowing up a Mig15 with my Spit IX when he misjudged my E and put too much faith in his turbojet power.

And before that you could fly the 262 to WW1. And when that got "fixed" you could still fly a WW1 plane to the WW2 area for the ultimate in Killshooter fun. Good times.
