How is the state of the game?
« on: April 24, 2006, 10:20:15 AM »
I used to play several years ago and I am feeling the itch to come back and get shot down a few times.

How is this game doing? Is there still alot of people playing?

LA7 still the pain in the butt it always was.

How many are seen in the main arena usually now? Used to be around 600 or so.

That still the case?

Pop into the Ava Arena (former CT) in the evenings (US time) for some good historical fights too!. Kinda thin crowd during the day, but it really picks up sometimes during the evening, especially on weekends and when FiltH is running one of his bomber missions. We had about 50 taking part last night. Ju88s, escorted by 109Fs and intercepted by SpitVs and HurriIIs. Great fight.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

Just to highlight one major difference....the Spit XVI has been competing with the La7 as the easy ride. The biggest difference for gameplay is that many guys who used to run their way out of a situation now have to hang around and fight. Its made the play more fun for both the easy riders (who learn more about ACM) and the rest of the arena.

Just expect as many "SPIT XVI ought to be perked" comments as we used to get "La7 needs to be perked" ones!!
