The fixed focus lens i was talkin about in an earlier post.
I reccomend it to anyone to play with apherture.

my 50mm f/1.4 is junk at the corners at full film aperture.
i learned this after two consecutive all night sessions of 10-30min hand guided portraits of the milky way.
i was teh PO'd.
probably a lot better with the reduced digital focal plane size

BTW, it's not fixed focus, it's fixed focal length lens.
Fixed focus means a lens where you cannot adjust the focus at all, it's always focused to "infinity".
I've been considering whether to buy the EF50/1.8 for 80€ or EF50/1.4 for 300€... Any opinions?

220 euro dollars is a lot to spend on 8mm of aperture, but if you're nuts for it nikon made a 55mm f/1.2 macro lens. maybe they still do

yes the kid is mine she is the oldest one.
almost 4 years.
its great fun for me to shoot
