1)What is the purpose of pornographic videos?
2) Do pornographic videos show a double standard between men and women?
3) Do you think these pornographic videos objectify women/man? If so, how?
4) Do you watch pornographic videos?  If so, how easy is it to get them through the internet?
5) Do you think these pornographic movies are harmful?

1. To earn a profit.

2. Yes, just as romance novels (porno for women) do.

3. Obviously yes, they're all about people using eachother's bodies for physical pleasure.

4. Yes. It's at the point now where one has to take measures to NOT get porno on the internet.

5. No. Thankfully due to the constraints of the law, all the sex is adult, consentual and voluntary. The actors and actresses are not exploited, they could easily get jobs in other fields if they chose to.

I thought it was pretty obvious. To get a fantasy view of something that most men can never acheive. If your wife/girlfriend watches it with you then maybe you can get a few ideas and or get her a little more turned on that normal.

Objectification is such a broad term. They show that women are useful for just a handful of things and mostly its facials when we are done with the stroking.

I have watched a few and still do occasionally and have even watched them with my wife but mostly for a "how'd they do that?" or "Good grief I didn't know a p**** could do that!" comment. As for ease of aquisition just go to Kazaa or any other P2P share client and type in PORN and see how easy they are to download.

Harmful is a relative term. They do insert (sorry bad choice there) thoughts into peoples minds that a woman is good for just screwing and moving on. When that just isn't the case. Women are something to be cherished; especially when you find the one that is going to be with you forever.
