Hell, you should have taken a chance and kept it. If you got stopped out there, just act dumb and make believe you thought it was a trout.

There are no "seasons" on fish in Arkansas, just size & number limits. Like the rainbow trout...six fish or less is the limit with no size limitations but there is a size slot limit on the german brown trout; if I remember right I  think it's 15". All this depends on the body of water you're fishing in too, some lakes have size limits & others don't & some of the ones that do have different size limits from others that do; I.E. what's legal to keep from one body of water may not be legal to keep from another. It sounds strange to hear the term "trout season" being from Arkansas.

Well, I'm from CT, but my father has a house up in Crown Point, NY (just north of Ticonderoga)...  I gotta say, it is right up there with the mountains of North Carolina for the most beautiful places in America...

You from the area?

I think there's one too many "b"'s in the above statement.

Steelhead season sucked up here this year. Got way to warm to fast. The carp are moving in. Not a good sign.

Not if it was trout season and I wanted to keep it. :D

There are a few VERY out of the way places in Redding CT that you can get to by 4x4. The trout are incredible there.
