Removing Ethernet card

so pain in the a z

had couldnt get connect with 73 foot cable..got it down to 41 ft

Now it works..well for 4 days


Some reason when i turn my comptuer off..I cant connect again...plug diff comp into cable...Works..


So i pull out my ethernet card...blow it off...put in new slot...

IT WORKS!!!


reboot after 2 hours...DOES N0T WORK!!>..arghhhh

move card back to origanl slot..IT WORKS!!!!


what wrong with this?

Auto detect settings ??? or manual proxy for its ip ???

sounds like its losing its ip addy .... your not resetting your routor are you ?


the other thing may be your setting in the bios ... its not picking up its pci slots correctly and assigning it an irq or its having an irq clash
