Getting the shakes...
« on: May 08, 2006, 09:09:18 AM »
No AH for months now, I am getting the shakes...

Hell I even dreamt of wacking some sissyfires in my 190 last night, it's no good.

Have internet now but nothing that I can fly on (unstable).

Somebody take some nice screens for me so I have something nice to look at!

When you say unstable, what do you mean? I play with a 16-20kbps dial up connection, though it took me a while to sort out my warppings everything is now cool, just the occasional hic-up.

Nice screen Kazaa thanks :)

Hell I'd almost trade my eyesight for a stable connection now Kaw :p (well not really but anyway).

TinmanX, as for unstable connection.

I don't actually have internet my self, I haven't gotten to order a phone connection yet (feeling kind of cut off since my cell phone provider decided to mess up my cell phone too). No phone connection means no ADSL for me (which is the only alternative for internet right here).

As it is now I am actually leaching of some guys wireless LAN (no it is not elegal as long as I don't access his computer). The signal is very weak and sometimes non existant and that is what makes it unstable, it often disconnects. I would only be frustrated flying with such a connection.

I think it was the Rhine map in winter colors.  They also had a LOT of clouds/weather set up.  I couldn't play it when the weather was active -- frame rates kept dropping to 6-8.  :cry

Wilbuz you loser!

Go down to the phone company, get your landline & DSL setup.

Throw away the Cell phone, those things will fry your brain!
(Think its already started to happen)

Ohhh and the 109's after the last patch, well they just RULE!
k's, g2's and watch out for the F!

Ghosth....what you said about cell phones could well be true.  An inventor of the cell phone working for Motorola from what I understand got Brain Cancer.  Last I heard he was in the process of suing Motorola.

If so.......lotta peeps will be walking around with a hole where an ear used to be.

Hope it's not true.

AS for Ghosth... THAT DOES NOT HELP!!! Saying the 109's rule after the last patch just isn't NICE!

GRRRR!!!!!

As for the brain being fried... well, are you surprised? It's me we're talking about

I'll go down and talk to some phone companies for sure, good Idea :D

As for cell phones, I wouldn't be surprised if they can cause cancer or other similair effects.

I worked as system technician in the navy while enlisted aswell as after. Main thing was to repair and maintain radar equipment, we're talking the high efficency long range kind of stuff here, not some meesly cell phones. So I know what the micro waves are capable off ;)

During the training we were shown photos of people who had worked with cell phones in the pockets while in basements and similair for several days or weeks and the pictures weren't all that pretty, most of them hade burn marks where the cell phone had been. Another photo showed one guy who had talked several hours a day for a few years, he had no hair left on the entire side of the head + burn marks.

So people saying it doesn't do any harm are only stupid.
