Blauk, I'm not certain that I'm understanding this fully, but if it's a matter of missing tags, could you either re-type them into the new object, or copy and paste the missing tags from the older file into the new one?

If I only could edit the shp files... but I cannot. Only the ac file can be edited and when it is converted to OE, the "PolyID" and "Hidden" tags do not go through to the shp file :(

It is not so serious that "Hidden" tags do not come out in export from shp to ac, since they can be added to ac file, but in conversion to OE (import) there is no work around... the objects simply will not function as they should in OE or TE or in game.

Maybe off-topic but it is bugging me that in ac3d i cannot copy/paste the tags, just type them.When i try to copy past them they do not appear next time i open  
the object settings

Another thing the OE does is it takes objects with the "nocollide=1" tag and changing it so it can collide when built in the TE.

Raptor is right, have the same thing happening to my objects with nocollide tag.
