Deflection shooting - interesting Excel applet
« on: May 09, 2006, 12:22:12 PM »
I found this excel macro thinger when looking up deflection shooting.
http://www.airwarfare.com/tactics/tactics_deflection.htm

The spreadsheet is very interesting, it appears to be set up for IL-2 (which I understand has a less realistic flight model) but I wonder how accurate it is for AH2.

The download is http://www.airwarfare.com/tactics/files/SC_2_Eng.zip

And it's clean, no funny stuff, just lots of macros.

Stephen Hawking's guide to deflection shooting.... Our survey says "et-uhh"
"...and then we discovered why. Why this 'Cheech', who had fought with gods and demons, why he flew the Zeke. He was being kind, giving us a chance to run away."
