I installed the Divx Player linked from that page. It wanted to also install Google Toolbar, but I unchecked the box. Then later it wanted to install Google Desktop, and I unchecked that too.
It proceeded to install Google Desktop anyway! What happened to "Don't be evil", Larry and Sergei?
Then, windows kept trying to default to Windows Media Player, which of course fails. Finally, I download the movie for the third time, and save it (fortunately getting 700KB/s to one of the servers).
And the damned Divx player can't read it either.
So now I have a movie I can't watch, friggin spyware that's going to take a hammer and chisel to remove, and a headache at 1:30am.
Excuse me while I reboot two or three times.
