P2P and file sharing
« on: May 13, 2006, 08:49:12 AM »
StarOfAfrica2, told me I would be more likely to get a quick response by posting in the O'Club sorry for double post. He tells me I may be breaking some kind of "taboo" of Skuzzy's. I can't imagine how asking for some information on a subject like this can be taboo. I am just looking for some information and feedback from a community I trust.

Anyways silliness a side I would appreciate any help any of you could give.
Here is the original post.

Looking for information on P2P and or file sharing.
What is a good application to use for file sharing ?
where are the best places to go on the web for file sharing ?
Where is a good place to find more up to date information about file sharing?
Thanks for your help.

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

I already answered but I will again, bearshare or gnutella..or limewire is good too. Just run an adware scan & get rid of the bloat software that is installed with bearshare, it will still work fine unlike some progs that are permanently attached to the adware.

LimeWire works *great*.  Go ahead and buy the $18 version, it makes downloads alot faster.
