We had this guy that used ta holler at us bishops for not conforming to his concept of MA play.. he indicated that it was frustrating watching 30 of his former countrymen all fly fighters to vulch some poor defenseless field, and alleged that none of us flies a c47.

Last I heard, he went to knights.

Now that we have peace and quiet again; we got about half the fields in the MA. HAHA!

Sounds to me like good ol' General Balo, General of all that liveth and breatheth has surruptishesly infiltrated the Knight's in hopes of mounting a coup. Hold on brothers, We'll all switch to Knights and save ya...naw, never mind, go hang
Oh, last but not least, I love to work together. I like teamwork. I will not be ordered nowhere by no one. If by chance that happens I'm fully prepared to give you what was given to me recently; an Ostrich, the biggest bird they could find

I fly under the nic "Gort" at the moment, and I think I am probably the player in question here.  This is my 7th day in AH.  I think Wert's displeasure was prompted by a comment I made to the effect that some of us were behaving like "handsomehunkes".  First and foremost, I dont presume to give orders, not even to myself.  Perhaps Wert felt that was what I was doing, sorry bud, and I mean it.  However, we are responsible for or own perceptions and emotions, and I am not overly concerned with what folks think of me.  Because of this, and the limitations inherent to communicating via one line of typed text, I am tend to be direct, even blunt.  If you choose to take it personally, thats your choice, you may choose otherwise, its up to you.  My philisophical leanings are towards individual freedom, and the capitalist notion that "he who pays the piper calls the tune" is one I agree with.  If you don't wanna play with me , don't.  No hard feelings, and I will still committ virtual suicide tryin to save your butt, if you are on my team, when you get in trouble in the arena.  I expect others to NOT do this for me, so I am pleasantly surprised when they do. I enjoy being part of a coordinated effort, and prefer that someone else lead that effort, but I am not so timid as not to attempt organizing such an effort.   As I mentioned before, I'm new here, and I am in the process of identifying those who will participate in teamwork from those who won't.  I dont keep toejam lists or hold grudges.  This is just a game, and I am not looking to make enemies.  If I offend you, you're welcome to tell me to piss off, you aint gonna hurt my feelings.  I've used the word "I" too many times in this post for my liking, and promise not to do it so much in the future.  Good luck, and gute jagd.

If one of the guys on my team starts picking his nose instead of defending his man, I'm going to let him hear about it.

I completely disagree, funked. You, or anyone else, has no right to tell me how to spend my time in AH. You do have the right to encourage me and others to work together, but to take it to the point of making someone feel bad by not "playing by your rules" is just wrong.

During our squad night, however, I expect to to be expected to work together with my squad and my country.

And most of the time, I try to help Rooks get organized, or at least will fly with other rooks to a fight. There are times, however, when I simply don't have the time to do this.

As a father of a young child, my AH time is extremely limited. There are times when I have only 20 or 30 mins for a quick sortie. On these nights, I'm not much help to my country. And I'll thank y'all to not harass me for this!

Before you criticize someone else for not "helping", please realize that it may be due to some unapparent circumstance.

HaHa....

I don't want to burst your bubble my friend, but as a Knight since the first day I started AH, I've sat on numerous vehicle fields that I've captured in my Panzer IV for 15-30 minutes. calling on Channel 2 for a C47.  Most of the time I get no response.  I've even offered $1,000 for the first guy to get there with no result.

My point is that it's just a GAME and people pay their $30 to do whatever they want.  Every country is the same, depending upon the system loading and current cultural group playing.

Personally, I hate the over organizer types that try to make it into a lifestyle.

Regards,

Badger

I always find that as soon as I get to height, someone will call for a Goon. I think, "Damnit"

If I am not occupied, and someone calls for goon I will usually get one.  Unless the target is A1!

One must also remember that to bring a goon in sucessfully the field must be pretty surpressed.  Flying a goon for a long distance and then just getting shot down is not helping anyone.

If one is trying to rally the troops and noone answers dosen't mean that the country does not fight together.  It means there are many things going on in this world of AH.  The Knights fight together pretty well.

I always listen for Flybywr to call for a goon! It is for good reason!!     I blew a field capture with him the other night because I'm stupid!!

Sometimes I might ask for help, but I dont think anyone has a right to demand it or belittle anyone for not following someone elses orders.

When others have tried to order me around, I have asked for their Visa card number, when they asked why, I explained if they were going to control my plane, they were goign to pay my bill.

That seems to stop that nonsenes.
