what ever happend to that natural night vision project..
« on: October 22, 2001, 11:59:00 PM »
I dont remember what it was called, but It had to do with increasing a soldiers natural night vision to an extreme degree.. there is a certin vitamin (I think its A) that when taken gives people better night vision.. well a while back on the discovery channel I remember seeing a thing on how the mil had isolated the exact 'stuff' it is in that vitamin that increased night vision and were working on being able to creat a more potent version that soldiers could take as a sort of supplement, and that after 6-8 months of taking it once a day they would have night vision that is at least 10 times better than average..

but ive never seen anything else about it.. anyone know what happened with this?

I do believe the "natural night vision" project was put on hold pending positive results from the "inner eyelid so we don't have blind soldiers" project.
