2. Semis will blow tires at a greater rate with higher highway speeds. If you've never been next to or behind a semi when they blow a tire you are missing out on a sphinter clenching moment.
A sidenote. Most of these you see are recaps on the drive axle and trailer tires.
These are used by some companies in an effort to save money.
Pretty dangerous in places such as Texas where the temps reach so high,
