I think McCain is off his rocker on this one. They were illegals, they were using false Social Security #s - legal citizens' Social Security #s, and apart from that just being unlawful, they couldn't have had any expectation at the time that they'd be receiving Social Security benefits in the future because of it. He really is shooting himself in the foot on this one. Illegals are not paying into SS and Medicare by choice to form a "nest egg", they are paying into it because they are using false documents to obtain the job in the first place.

The nest egg of the illegal immigrant is the $10 - $15 BILLION in wages that is wired back to Mexico every year from workers in the US.

Let's see...

Social Security is running out of money, and anyone my age and younger will continue to pay in, and probably never see any of it. Years and years of our earnings gone in a puff of administrative smoke.

However, we're so worried about "fair" that somebody thinks we need to protect the rights of criminal foreigners? Liars, cheats, forgers, deceivers, frauds...and they "deserve" Social Security? At the expense of real Americans? People who break into the country, hide in little enclaves, steal jobs and services, refuse to assimilate, refuse to learn the language...and we have to protect their "nest egg"?

Retirement payments for criminals...where do I sign up?

Just whose side are our "leaders" on, anyway? Looks to me like they care more about outsiders than they do about us.

Sorry, but I just can't get over what's happening with this crap. How did we ever conceive of the notion that we owe something to these people?
