looking for the name of a movie
« on: May 19, 2006, 04:32:18 PM »
Pretty old film and i only remember a fraction of the story..

Its about a large group of people living on an sunken ship and has done so for a long time. I belive they grew their own food and stuff..

I saw it as a kid so its perhaps 20 years old or more.

Anyone?

could be.. nothing comes up on google under that name, but it sounds like something that can be related to the Poseidon movie, or just a movie trying to ride that wave.

This one maybe?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078856/

I realize its been almost 30 years since that movie came out (1979) but I dont remember anything about people living in it, and I thought it was still floating when they went "back".  This one was about treasure hunting IIRC.

I remember this one... The name of the movie was the name of the ship, and it was something like "Colossus" or ...

Nope not that one im afraid. As far as i can remember the ship was lying on the bottom of the sea and had done so for a very long time. Kids had even been born there i belive. By the time the movie started they either had to get out before it rusted, or someone found them.

I remeber it as beeing rather scary.

Wait a second... I belive it came in a few episodes and was sent on TV, so maybe not a movie but a series.

"Swiss Family Robinson."  Great movie. Those were the days.

However, the book was better.

Yeppers the Book was Better!!!

Just like reading the "Lord of the Rings" The book is always better.

But I regress, I had always hoped, as a young Lad, that PlayBoy would have came out in "Braille and Scratch and Sniff" *sigh*

There's Always a Dream,

Mac
