Knits, I love ya.  But boy some of you can whine like there's no end in sight.  And I know we're all guilty of this, but don't you love "the informant".  You know who the informant is, right?  When you are fighting a multi-front battle, he's the one guy insisting we should all stop and save the particular base HE is at.  Usually, it goes like this.."We need help at XX!!".  Then, "Guys!  We need help at xx NNNNOOOOOWWW" and as y'all know, then the syndrome we all love hits, "Desktop Generalitis", made famous by the late Gunman26.  Only Patton could love these folks  :)

So anyways, anyone that knows me and my sense of humor know that I just do not take this game *that* seriously.  But I also know some do, and its great fun to yank their chain.  If you trade sides, its worse than kicking their dog  :)  I'm always amused at the 'traitor' retorts when someone rolls to another side.  Phhhtttt.

So, last night, I'm doing some buffing and then decide to over some high cap for some buffs in a G10.  While sitting back and climbing, I'm watching Texan blab on about which base needs immediate attention, nevermind the hammering A22 and others are fending off at the moment.  Being bored, I tell the dude we are busy at 22 and other places.  Ooh, never ever try to educate once Desktop Generalitis has hit!  After many blaring lectures as to why we need to save Texan's personal crusade, an evil grin comes to my face.  The boy needs a whupping, since now he's bragging about killing goons and the Rook are really getting whupped.

So, let's have some fun.  After shooting down 4 cons in the G10, I land and go to Rook.  Since I KNOW Texan is at 57 (I think that was the one)...I'll make myself a nice easy target so he can gloat some more.  I opt for a heavy B-26 and head over to be a target.  Sure enough, as soon as I clear the ridgeline, a few cons come to greet my B26, but most stay low, apparently hunting for another C-47.  After dumping my bombs on their base, I see a low dogfight and roll the B-26 into a wingover and transform into <trumpts blaring> Super F-26.  I don't know who is more suprised, the P-51 I spray a few shots over or me, pulling into the vertical with him   :)  Naturally this P-51D blows past me and I level and man the guns.  Then silly little Spitfire sits nice and level behind me, 600ft away.  I hit the tailgun and fire away, and watch it snow Spitfire over 57.  Then pure magic hits.."You've killed Texan" spills across the screen.  Woohoo, that alone makes the whole night end on a high note!  I also shot down an La-7 (MaxQ) who really had a nice angle on me, but I managed to lead my shots so everything hit his right wing at once.

Now the chat buffer explodes (imagine?).  Texan says...

I'm a traitor

He can't wait til school is in and Im gone (at 32?)

He hopes I die in my BD-5 since he knows a lot about experimental airplanes

and so on and so on.

Think I hit a nerve? hehe...hey, I had FUN and I know the Rooks loved it too.

So to Texan and anyone else that was there last night, I had a great time, even if ya got whiney  :)  You sure did a lotta typing during that chute ride down!

Sorry so long, its just so fun to detail these little sagas at times, ya know?

Yup....couldn't beleive it either.  Filmed it and all.  Guy made a real horse's bellybutton of himself.

Sigh, now I gotta wait a day before I can switch back to Knit!  Oh well, I suppose I can be fodder for a night.

Hey man, I wasnt handing out orders, I was trying to tell the guy we had wildfires everywhere.

While I relished in sending him and his ego down in the chute, the personal attacks and "hope you die" rants were pretty below par.

LePaul... I was on and at A22 last night... and I for one was annoyed with Texan, but I don't spend much time reading the buffer. I salute your victory. It isn't very often that such justice can be served in such a fitting manor.

There seems to be more and more generals around these days... attack this base! Defend here! Cease fire fleet! I said CEASE FIRE (um... yeah... and remember it takes a good minute for the rounds to stop falling from 25 clicks away)

Anyway... I don't mind small announcements like B26 IB 17 or A25 is about to get hit etc... but the complaining when everyone doesn't auger and run to rescue of someone else's personal cause is downright annoying.

<S> again. Traitor... heck no!!! You are a patriot my friend... and I hope to see you back as a Knight where you belong. Heh heh... next time let me know you are jumping ship and we can tune to a common channel and I'll fly around and tell you where he is. (just kidding)   ;)

LePaul, your actions simply disgust me.  There's no other way I can put it.
