Yes, on the deck, up high, anywhere.

I'll be in the TA most evenings during the coming week. Stop by for some fun. If you miss me, look for Murdr, I'm sure he'll be happy to fly with you.

I just flew the Spit16 a few times in MA. First sortie I landed 6 kills. I mainly owe this to being in a furball and it was easy to zip in and out of the horde. Next 2 sorties I flew I died very quickly against Filth in 1v1 both times(he was in an F4U). I know I'm not that good of a virtual pilot, maybe average at best. And I know Filth is excellant. But if the Spit16 was as uber as most people think then I feel like I should have had a better chance than what I did. I may not fly it much and they are a joy to kill. IMO, leave it unperked.

See where I am going with this, that arguement can go both ways. Perking a plane doesn't make me fly what someone else wants me to fly. All it does is make me think before I up this ride do I care about possibly losing perk points. (Me personnally, It doesn't effect me one bit)
So to me the arguement it's there money or don't dictate to me what I fly has no valid point. no one is dictating anything by perking a ride. All it's doing is making you use your little perky points. So why have perk points if you aren't going to use them.
Unless there is some secret Perky Point Bank somewhere you guys are exchanging them for Real money, in which case fill me in on where it's at. :D

Hondo, I think SpaceMonkey is simply taking issue with Filth's remark that "the multitudes should fly something else once in awhile", not necessarily perk planes in general.

Hub i kinda thought that, I was just showing the other side of the coin per his reply about my 15 bucks I should be able to do whatever I want.
There are several things in this game that either don't allow you to do whatever you want whenever you want, or henders you in some form or fashion in doing so. I don't agree with the way Filth stated what he said, I understand what he would like to see, as would alot in here.
I respect everyone doing there thing, fly want they want, but almost every game made you just don't get to do what ever ya want every minute of the game.
I just feel by perking the over used planes (as they did with the CHog)would help balance the arena out in the aspect of seeing a larger variaty of planes to fight against. I just don't get why so many get upset when you talk about perking certian planes. It's like Oh My God...I haved saved up 10,000 perk points and I'll be dammed if i am going to spend em....LOL
Anyway, it really doesn't matter to me what HT does. Either way i will always try to have fun in the game. Whether it's killing spits and lalas all the time or killing a larger variaty. I just adapt to whatever.
But it would be nice to see less of em tho

Ack personally I dont care that there are so many spit16s out there as far as gameplay, its just that with such a list to choose from, its a shame we see the same planes in such numbers all the time. But then again Im pro-rolling plane set. Believe me I enjoy the game! I think I squeeze about as much fun out of it as is humanly possible!

Put FesterMA furball island back in the rotation.  Limited early plane set and bombers disable.  Also do the same for donut's fightertown.

Wishful thinking :>

So if HTC called the Spit LFXVIe the Spitfire LFIXe would you all quit whining?  That's all it is.  It's a Spit IX with an American built Packard Merlin 266 instead of a Rolls built Merlin 66.

Keep in mind one thing when you whine about the Spit XVI.  The guys who fly it tend to stay in and fight, which is a far cry from the LA7 drivers who blow through at light speed and run for the hills after their head on pass.

16s fall apart nicely when you shoot em too.

So lets say you perk the 16.  What's next after that to whine about?  No doubt some other plane will become the choice of the run and HO crowd.  It's not like there aren't other choices.

How bout quit whining and fly?  Or Don't fly if you can't handle the Spit 16 drivers.  Who the heck really cares?

Unperk em all.  I'm not going to fly the uber birds anyway cause they don't interest me.  But why continually look to limit what folks can fly?  It's still up to each person playing the game to find the fun.  And if they can't find it, then it's probably time to do something else don't ya think?
