so is anthrax & small pox - probably our next middle eastern treat.

Problem with us nuking 1st, the rest of the world we be able to say "the US did it 1st" as they let em fly...we have enough conventional weapons to smash anyone and anything to kingdom come. Just need to put all the politically correct toejame in the closet while we wage a war as it is supposed to be waged.

Lets play "What If"....what if a terrorist uses a suitcase nuke, say, in the Sears tower, top floor for maximum damage to the city...and we find out that it leads back to (Iraq,Iran,Somolia,)?  Then do we play with nukes?

Yep, as long as we aint't first. Hell it don't even have to detonate, if they find one and it points anywhere overseas, I say it warrants wiping out the gov's of Iran and Iraq and any other known terrorists backing slimballs. I think we could have this terrorist issue under control in about a week once we did that.

I was watching the news lastnight and they were talking about the underground caves and how USAF attacks couldnt penetrate and I couldnt help thinking about some underground nuclear blast tests. In the name of science of course.

Eagler, I assure you that I am the most politically incorrect person on this bbs, at least I am in the race.

I can also say this and believe it to be a true as it can be, barring any change in policy. The USA will not use a tactical or strategic nuclear weapon in operation Enduring Freedom. Even if we are attacked by one of the "nuclear weapons" that we believe may be held by terrorist. Those weapons do not provide a high yield, more of a dirty yield. While it would be dispicable and definately takes this war to a new level, I seriously doubt the USA will retaliate in kind, or use a tact or strat nuke.

My reasoning is this. We are at war with the terrorist organization(s). We are even sending food along with destruction to prove it. The terrorist are at war with the "western world" They have no problem killing western non-combabtents, to them it is glory to "their god". To different objectives all together.

Just the way I see it.

There is no problem in the world that cannot be solved by high explosives. The only question is the amount and location.
