Yes folks, contrary to what you've been told on this board, the UK has a dental profession!

There are dental surgeries all over the place, and I go to mine on a half-yearly basis. Usually it's just a 10 minute poke around, and X-rays every two years. During these visits, I like to chat with my guy who I find quite interesting, although it's difficult to engage in conversation when I have an X-ray plate clasped between my teeth! So needless to say, it's the dentist who does most of the talking - LOL
One time, he told me he'd been on holiday in the Czech Republic (or somewhere like that) engaging in his hobby of... shooting guns!!!

Oh no, my dentist is a gun nut!

:p So I was telling him about the time I'd been to Lazs's hovel, and then on to the "range" at Lazs's place of work. I described the three guns we used that day. Then I listened to my dentist's account. He'd tried some of those guns with weird sounding European names, and... a .357 magnum.

He was so proud of the fact he'd fired the "Dirty Harry" gun, and I had to wait until he'd put down his mirror and probe to tell him that Harry's gun was actually the .44 magnum (8¼ inch barrel?) like Lazs's, and which Lazs let me try. The poor dentist was crushed! Glad he'd finished the examination by the time I told him.
So there you have it Lazs - I hope to have instilled in you some degree of faith in the British dental profession! If ever you come back here I'll be glad to introduce you to my gun nut dentist.
