Apology to the Yak

Dok, while I can sympathize with your situation (I really can), and applaud your effort to apologize, I also have to laugh at what the Dud did.

All too many threads on this BB are full of vile and venom.  It is refreshing to see some humor (and not at the expense of anyone) along with a classy apology.

Heck, I would be just a quick to have made that type of reponse.  I do have a warped sense of humor.  And it would have caugh me off gaurd to have it taken personally by someone.  Especially in light of the classy thing being done.

For what its worth Dok.  I think you are being a bit harsh.  And this coming from someone who gets accused of being harsh all the time (thought I would say it before someone else did).

Now, maybe having humor tossed in like this is not your cup of tea.  That's ok too.  Now that I know, I will certainly be more mindful of it.  Maybe the Dud will too.

Dok, we don't see until we see and we don't hear until we hear.  By in large I'm with you.  Nonetheless, the consequence of getting the know the good eggs still out weighs any attendant vexations.

SuperDud's remark just didn't come across as a joke to me. Not last night, and not this morning. If that was how it was meant, I accept that.

I felt bad enough about having to disco on someone that I offered an apology.

i actually thought duds response was very funny, had me chuckling a while.

Dok u have completely misconstrued the response as a personal attack when in fact it was a good attempt at some light hearted banter.

I applaud your apology to the Yak and i think 99% of the "community" will too.

Actually, they cleaned up the photo for public relations reasons.

Hacking around on their training server revealed the original image:
