The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the law of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence.

Ben Franklin never said that sir.  The actual quote was this:

Quote
Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Those two words make a big difference IMHO.

I stand corrected.

Well, ok, I sit corrected.

Either way my quote comes from playing too much Civ IV, yours probably comes from American History 101 which I (being a Brit) never studied and, therefore, shall attempt to remember the correct version next time I feel like quoting Franklin.

dang hang, I was wondering why I was starting to have a oddly veiled sense of pity for you.  You have been dogged bro.  You have been severely dogged.

I found the nash supported image of bush with the other two presidents strangely historic beyond proportions I seemingly wanted to grasp.  Maybe a few hundred years from now folks will look back on it with some sort of repspect but I guess there will be dogged hangtimes hundreds of years from now as well.  Probably a good thing.

God bless amreeka!

Here's some suburban never-fought fear monger trying to explain to everyone else that Hangtime's actual war experience in Vietnam merely constitutes some form of getting "dogged."

And that his "oddly veiled sense of pity" for Hangtime is suddenly "crystal clear."

It's high time that folks muster the balls to start not putting up with this kinda crap.
