Yup there's right to protest and then there is crossing the line.  There is also my right to protest these protesters by making fun of them and calling them smelly liberal hippies.

I am sure that are all very impressed by your statement on a game forum. I see them shaking with fear all the way from here.

to the truck driver for his restraint. I don't doubt for a minute how much damage he would have done to the twit with the sign.

Protesting is not permission to violate the law. It is perfectly legal to protest so long as you do it within the bounds of the law.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

anyone who compares this war to vietnam has his head firmly planted up his butt. If we had fought vietnam like we have fought iraq it would have been over by 68.... hanoi would have been a sea of craters and china would have been shaking in the corner. It might even have brought down the soviet union evil empire a little sooner.

Thats an uneducated view.  Hanoi was a sea of craters.  China didn't put up with the U.S. attacking up to its borders.  Remember the Korean War? China sent over 300,000 troops over the Yalu River and pushed U.S. forces back to the 38th parallel.  Besides, occupying a country is much different than invading it.

That's just dripping with irony. What, do you suppose made Vietnam unwinnable?

Actually the Chinese pushed US forces much further south than the 38th parallel in Korea. You do know how that worked out right? The Korean war is not over, both in practice and technically. Who knows which governement will rule when the peninsula is reunited but can there be any doubt that the handwriting is on the wall for Communism?

So you might change your views on dope smokers.  Its a new age and 80% of my friends smoke, some are cops..  Times change

Man, I dont care what you smoke.  If you intentionally inhale smoke from anything then you are being stupid and disrespectful to yourself and anyone who cares about you.

Yes but are you a smelly dirty liberal hippie?  Those are the worst kind.  Most dope smokers don't care to much about anything to protest.

They might get worked up over evil coorporations while rolling a "J" and then later stop by taco bell for some munchies, and go rent some killer xbox games at blockbuster, and stop by 7-11 on the way home for some a nach/slurpee combo.

i always liked the smell of burning leaves in the fall, but now it's illegal to burn leaves, you have to bag them and bury them in a landfill.

is it true that california has baned the use of charcoal grills because they pollute the air?

I used charcoal in california when I was there, it was readily available in all the stores so I'd say that's a rumor.

You gotta be kidding, there's a few things that Californians will not tollerate. One is taking away their 'right' to use a cell phone while eating their Double Double and smoking a cigar all while driving their SUV, the other is being forced to use propane or < shudder > an electric grill.

This issue doesn't even rise to urban legend status.
