That would be the "Pay me 200 bucks and I wont tell the ATF what you did" tax.

You can ask Mr. Weaver about it.  He lives out in Idaho somewhere, a place called Ruby Ridge I think.  He can tell you how it works.

Make sure you pay in advance.

Oh, and watch out for people dressed in black.

The $200.00 tax is a transfer tax that the ATF collects. Once they approve the transfer of the weapon you can take possession of it. That is for an existing weapon. This is not to be allowed to make a sawed off shotgun. They will not allow that even if you are willing to pay them $200.00. You do not want to be trying to get into this. The source of information you want to ask is the BATF.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

^ What he said.  If you think the ATF will collect money to let you manufacture illegal weapons you are nuts.

They enjoy far too much breaking down your door and arresting your entire family while they pile your guns on the lawn and burn them.

However, who knows.  The state of Florida might take your money and then sell popcorn and soft drinks to those watching the show when the ATF comes to call.
