Duck, I skydive at a club in Aars, which is a few 100 km's to the north. You'll probably want to live in one of the more populated areas around Aalborg, Aarhus or some of the larger cities on the Devil's Island (Sjaelland)

.
Taxes are high - as Snefens have indicated, but there seem to be a link between high salaries and decent wages - in the end, you lose some you gain some

. Not to forget is the benefits provided to you by the state (not nearly enough to make up for the horrible tax IMHO, but most of my fellow Danes do not share this opinion).
It's quite possible to get a decent deal on apartments, especially if you aren't looking for stuff that's in the middle of a city.
Danes are pretty cool though, even if as a people a bit wary of change. And, they drink a tremendous amount of beer, which is a good sign.

.
You'll either grow to love or grow to hate our "poptøser" - that's the bimbo girls. And, of course, the bimbo boys. I hate those boys, and I only like those bimbo girls when I'm drunk

.
Overall, it's a very nice, neat, safe place to be, especially in the summer. The beaches on the Jutland west coast stretch for several tens of kilometres, and during the summer months are populated by some quite nice women

. For some reason, I like spending time there.
