If you're having trouble....Throttle doesn't work....fire buttons don't work and you're using control manager there is an easy fix.

Open control manager....my throttle is set as control device 3, the axis I'm using in control Manager is Slider.  All I did was then enter AH and went to set joystick.  Made my control manager 3 device into throttle 1 (click on advanced) in AH....selected slider and made control device 3 throttle 1.
Have Control Manager Map loaded when you go into AH joystick setup.
And just map what you are using (axis, buttons, etc.) in Control Manager to AH.

Fire buttons...same thing....in AH keymapping all I did was select the key that I have mapped in control manager into AH keymapping.  Youll find there is no fire primary, both, or secondary mapped in Aces High.  Just map you Control Manager keystroke in AH keymapping....match them and you're in!

remember...have your control manager map activated when you do the above.  Only took a short while to figure this out.

I have CH Hotas and run Ch manager 4 in mapped mode and several scripts. I downloaded the 2.08 beta and the gold patch and have had no issue at all with my set up with the exceptions of my RPM Axis being reversed.

In direct mode your devices will be numbered in windows in whatever order you installed them. In mapped mode you have 1 device and it seems that AH has a better time recognizing the axis' correctly.

Using CH manager 4 here. Lost some axis and mapping after the update. Followed Hajo's procedure and am back in business.

Thanks

I'm using CM 2.xx (or somthing) and everything imported perfectly. Only had to copy mod 1 to 2 & 3. Luckily the only thing I use the modes for is re-arranging fire control. That was easy to reset, only 2 changes / mode.

SWEET !!! I run in mapped mode too ... any detail on how you re-reversed the RPM axis would be much appreciated.

Just select the advanced option and then reverse that axis.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

I run my CH set up in mapped mode. V2.07 worked great, V2.08 not so much. I'm still trying to get back most of my functionality. Having to remap every button every time I turn the computer on gets old fast.

I use the throttle wheel on the CH JS as my RPM adjustment. Everything else worked fine, but my RPM wheel was either full on or full off. It was also reversed. Then I figured out you can calibrate that individual axis in the Aces High controller page and reverse the axis too.

Problem solved.

Yup, AH2 sees it as the X and Y axis for the ProThrottle. The Z axis is the throttle slide, of course :)

I use mine to move up, down, left and right in my views. Now if HT would only fix it so that when you use the analog control, your view doesn't go back to the default before you move about.

Don't use the mapped mode :) I don't use any of the CH software.

If I don't use mapped mode AH only sees my throttle but thinks it's the stick:eek:
