I had same problem. Go to Joystick control mapping and double click Z axis. Set it to your Throttle.

hope that helps.

I have a Saitek Cyborg, when I installed 2.08 and converted the stick settings I noticed that it doesn't import your stick settings exactly. The throttle is missed out. All other axes did map though. I just had to map the throttle to the throttle axis (under controler mapping) make sure you have the advanced option selected.

Hey,

Under controler mapping, push the button you want to map the menu will hightlight that button and the present assignment. Double click it and it opens a tacky wood menu, you select the feature you want that button to control from there.

Hope that helps.

You guys using the SST software, or did you just have it mapped through AH? Did you import your mappings when prompted?

The game didn't recognize my saitek as the primary controller at first, then didn't carry all of the button mapping over when it was selected. After the .1 patch, it seems to work fine.

Well, got the throttle thing to work, but joystick is now so jumpy when i try to manuver that it is unplayable. Will play around with it some more, but my patience is running thin. This is the 1st time ever had a problem with this game. Uninstalled game and joystick software and re-installed. But no luck, wondering if it is worth the effort.

I have a backup of my old stick.cfg file. But I cant seem to find such a file in 2.08 settings folder? Any Ideas? Is there some other file that stores stick config data? Mind you I am not talking about stickmapping data, but the things like deadband and damping and scaling etc.

Never Mnd found it!

Its a *.jsm file (Joy Stick Map???). Mine has a long number for a name.
Beware you cant simply replace it with a copy of your old config file though.
The stick config setting numbers are back to front, so you will have to reverse them manually. I did it in notepad. Also the *.jsm file allows different stick scaling for the 4 different modes, so you need to repeat it for every mode.

It also has the stick button maps in it. Again different for each stick mode.

All my stick calibration problems just VANISHED once I uninstalled the Saitek profiling software (didnt uninstall driver software though). Then calibrated it using windows and AH2. No problems since.

I never had any luck whatsoever using the SST with either of my cyborgs or my Evo. It always seemed to work better just using the game interface, though I've no idea why.
