i think we need an option for our bomber drones to have different skins than our lead plane. i thought of this last night as i took off with three totally identical B24s of the moby dick variety. i know that its alot of coding for not much payoff, but i thought it would be worth it. for me at least

I think they see it as each skin represents an entire squad. Though not all planes in the squad looked alike, they were similar. So it makes more sense to have 3 identical planes from the same squad flying a formation than it does having 3 planes from 3 squads flying in 1 formation.

i was sort of thinking more along the lines of just removing the distinguising marks from each plane, like the "moby dick" thing. i know this would be hard. im just here throwing out ideas

I like it but right now the nose art and identifing markings are painted directly on the skin. They would have to be in separate files for this to work but the resolution on the markings in-game would probably be much better.
