Headlong into the fray
« on: June 07, 2006, 06:04:10 AM »
One year ago, today, I decided to take the year off after graduating. I promised myself that i would get a job (or at least apply for one) by June 9, 2006. This past year has been great, non stop parties and many new friends. But all good things must come to an end and now I must get a job and mabey even move out of the house and get an apartment. I used to see the end of high school as an end to the greatest years of my life, I now realize that it is a new beginning. A brave new world is ahead of me and all you kids of the graduating class of 2006.

A word of advise.

Get the job, stay home and save your money.

When you have enough for a downpayment.
Buy a house.

IT'll be worth it in the long run
Death is no easy answer
For those who wish to know
Ask those who have been before you
What fate the future holds
It ain't pretty

I did that after HS. Problem was, I basicly lived at college anyways. Would stay up at school for a party, stay over, then do it again the next night. Planned on taking a year off... By the 4'th month I figured since I pretty much lived at school, I might as well take classes. 5 years at college went by faster than I'd ever though possible. HS was fun, college is even better. Just find a wet campus. And i'm not talking about drinking.
