62 years ago D-Day operations of Americans, British, Canadians, French, Polish, and more other countries took part in the D-Day invasion of Normandy. Lets take our caps off and thank those who died and fought for the Freedom we still have today. Thanks :aok

Hardly heard anything about the Anniversary of D-Day with all this BS about 6/6/06.

Thank you Lt. Andrew Schumaker, my grandfather/mother's father. Served with the 61st Troop Carrier Group flying gliders in Africa, Italy, the Holland Invasion and France.

I miss ya grandpa Andy.

Watched Part 2 of Band of Brothers tonight. to Easy Company, and all the men who gave their lives on the Longest Day so that others might live in freedom.
