Great, have a generation of citizens that got thier start in the working world learning all those great lessons in inefficientcy that only the silly service can teach.

Watch the news sometimes and think about... We have a national emergency some place or anyplace in the world. Who is there within hours, boots on the ground "running" with a plan? Many times "red tape" may slow them down once they get there on what they can and can't do.

Yes, sometimes when your in the motorpool with the 300 other guys it will look bad and boring...

But when you need to "Get it done" the U.S. Army along with other service's are the guys to call.

the way war is fought now... everybody is in a combat position.

The government is there to serve the public (and it does this best by doing it as little as possible), not the other way around.
