He's prolly blowing up at random intervals on random people over their use of random words in a sentence describing him.

Just a guess.

Heya Hajo!  I've been floating about here and there :)    Unfortunately my suit is four sizes too small  now and I can't figure out which is the joystick and which is the throttle anymore;)
To be truthful I miss seeing you, Whles and so many others online but I'm just not into the fantasy arena type of sim/game anymore. It's not immersive to me in the l east as it doesn't carry me away and help me feel like I'm a pilot flying a (simulated) WWII plane in a replica of the WWII environment.
On top of that in this day and age I have no time to get online let alone to help noobs (not that I had much in skill to pass on anyway ;)  . So  I wait for TOD/CT and for try to illuminate noobs and "dweebds" misconceptions by replaying to thier posts with sarcasm. :)   I do hope all is well with you and yours!        And thanks for the post :)

 Sincerely
  Ken

p.s.  Wrong (as usual) GE.  We can have a do-over of 1999 if you wish.  Only problem is AW isn't around to predict the demise of anymore.    Er, oh yeah...    :aok

No it wasn't.  It was fairly obvious to many people that things weren't well in Camelot.  Perhaps you were close to the product? Too blind to see what was going on?  Er...  Or were you?    oh yeah   ....

To quote ... "I *love* it when events prove who was shovelin what *especially* when they go to some lengths to discount through innuendo and outright bull**** the person that tells the truth."

Too funny.... ROFL ....  dude.

*topic found when I was doing a Google search on Arnold this a.m.  After reading your posts there I had a chuckle as I recalled your comments to me in here.

The funny part is .. I read what I posted there just now. . the entire thread, not just what you cut out of it.

As usual, Westy .. your reply makes little, if any, sense.

Another random Westy post apparantly.

To clarify the gist of that long ago post and try to make sense out of what you posted .. yes .. I was close to the product, as Lead Artist for AW along with someone who actually played the game ..a lot closer than most.

When they lay off the Lead Artist along with most of the people who make the game happen .. that's a clue. When I was laid off, the guy running the whole of the so-called 'Creative Services' told me that Air Warrior and all the other games in developement were being shut down by EA. -Period-

For stating that particular fact on Bigweek .. well .. nay-sayers is a very polite form of address for those who didn't beleive it. I was called a lot of things by a lot of people who didn't know what was goin on, and even by a few I thought of as friends of mine .. along with several who knew exactly what was goin on and should have known better.

Yes .. I *love* it when a ton of BS is spread around, and it turns out ..hey, guess what? .. when I said that AW was dead .. it was! Go Figure.

You seem intent on inferring that what I said was at best, inaccurate.

Carry on.
Ignorant, as usual.

Well, as one who was never involved in any AW arguments (except with Blue Baron because he was so unreasonable and would get into bitter arguments at the drop of a hat -- that was a joke, by the way), I can say I'm glad to see all three of you guys around -- Westy, Hajo, and GE.

First of all I will never enter any argument about who knew what.

And what EA did has been rehashed way to many times already.

Those who worked on and for Air Warrior as well as the customers who enjoyed the game were let down to say the least.

Ever notice that a lot of the AW community still tries to keep in touch?

That's the key.  You enjoy doing something like going to the baseball game with friends.....ya go together because of common interest and friendship.
You enjoy one anothers company and the game itself.

A lot of people struck up good friendships that started in Air Warrior.

Common interest and enjoyed the game together.

Let's let the EA debacle die.  Someone give it a throat shot to make sure it's dead :aok

Lets develop the Community of AH!  It has made great progress in just a bit over 7 years.

Fair enough :)   Was more of a GE and me thing anyway.  But I got this guilty feeling now like I'd picked on a senior citizen and as an act of contrition I'll bow out and let it stand that he had the final "werd."

Brooke that last scenario was fun.  And a "Thank you!" to MAC and the whole AH scenario team for doing something different and putting one on that wasn't scheduled for midday Saturdays.

Westy agreed!  Scenarios best part of the game.

Brooke....yup operation downfall was fun.  I enjoyed it very much.

Now...I think I've gotta register for  the Battle of Britain.

Haven't quite decided what side to die for as of yet. ;)

Downfall ran into a lot of trouble, but I still had fun playing in it.  We'll fix the troubles with it and run it again some day maybe a year or two from now.

It was great to see Westy play! :)

As we run more scenarios (and we are working to ramp up the frequency), I think there will be more of them where we can pick some different times.

Aye .. we were all caught in the moment for sure.

Some reacted badly .. I never did understand what happened to Westy.

I think aliens stole him and replaced him with a pod person.
He went thru some kind of melt down for sure in AW.

Westy went from just another dweeb to the most rabid detractor of everything AW offered in just a blink, AW time. Even today, if it's associated with AW, he has a hard time being civil. I'm sure the demise of AW warms the cockles of his heart. Unlike most of us, who already knew more than we wanted to know about what was wrong with AW and did our best to try and 'fix' it .. Westy flamed on to the point of absurdity.

Those who played and still play have a lot in common, not the least of which is everytime a Merlin or Roundmotor goes by overhead, we stop and look. Someone nearby mentions 'Mustang' and we don't even think of a car, first.

To those who still play .. I will see you over the Channel ..in the best Battle of Britain yet to come down the pipe. This 'game' we play just keeps gettin better :)

I hear it's gonna be a 'Peice o' Cake' :)
