Anyone see the Johnny Cash tribute?
« on: June 08, 2006, 07:16:49 AM »
Anyone see the Johnny Cash tribute on tv?  I'm about halfway through it and it's been fun to watch so far.

Dennis Quaid musta gotten mugged on the way to the show though, 'cause he was wearing a t-shirt and a really dirty jacket...

edit - They really did "if I were a carpenter" right.  That one song was worth sitting through the whole hour.

I think it was Martina McBride and Dwight Yokum.  Quite nice.

Are they going to show it again? What channel?

(and I still say he wasn't trying to spell possum!)

I think I saw that on CMT a while back when Walk The Line was coming out.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.
