I would like to take you up on that offer.  Maybe there is something I'm just not seeing.  I'll probably piss him off with my questions though.

Any of you feel free to send a join request.  Although I might need a refresher on how to use the text bar to accept it.

I haven't truly enjoyed the GV aspect of the game since AH1, when the pizza map had a perpetual small scale war running around the outer ring, and the canyons.

I still like to vulch with an osti, but the oddities of the trees, and the tendency for people to just setup camp and plaster the spawn point takes the fun out of the ground vehicle game for me. I haven't seen an actual engagement with any sort of maneuvering in months. It's always the same guys just camping each other's spawns. I find that painfully boring, so

no thanks.

Now I don't know what Tufnuts problem is, JM reached out to us shared his views, made some assumptions about me, slap and et-al. Slap returned the gesture and furthered the conversation with a little more insight into himself and his GV experience. I think slaps response was more than respectful and not at all threatening or condescending.

JM, its not that I disrespect you or any GVrs. If you guys are fighting and in a moving battle where the action is hot, then I am in. If you’re sitting in the same spot lobbing shells at close to BVR, then no thanks.

Like I have said before, my GV game was crawling, stalking and running through the city killing and being killed. There was nothing better than trying to hear another guy and figure the direction he is going just to get yourself into position. Or being spotted and having to lose an opponent, just to then turn the tables and chase them down. The patient anticipation as you waited before you made a move as the sound of the enemy tank got closer, buildings obscuring your view till they are on top of you, then it's a draw. Or coming around a corner, finger on the trigger to be the fastest and most accurate shot, hitting the kill spot first. Yeah that was all great fun and lost for me when they created this abortion they call Tank Town.

IMH If you can figure out how to fly in 3d and lead a shot, it's not rocket science to drive in 2d and lob shells on the move.

I also have sat on the outskirts, walking shells into an enemies position. That got boring to me.

I have yet to see a real tank battle in this game. AHI tank town came close to fostering it because you had many tanks together in close proximity mostly on the move fighting.

I do not consider spawning and getting shot a GV game any more than I consider vulching AtoA combat.  To me, the GV spawn campers are the guys that ruin the GV game.  At least in Fighters I have a chance to go to another field and maybe find a fight.  In a GV the fights are so few and far between that the last thing I would want to do is ruin one by camping it.

Now where do you sit. I have nothing to go on, other than your post a while ago about how you landed some absurd amount of kills. Now tell me they weren’t spawn camping kills.

You get yourself into a great GV battle, and I'm logged on and not in a good fight, I'll take you up on the diversion maybe see where you really sit. It could be fun.

Until then your a spawn camping dweeb :D :aok

Creton are you saying that there was another Tufnuts before me? If so I was not aware, and am not trying to impersonate.

Mars01- My comments were direct towards superDud and morpheus. While driving a tank might be easy compared to flying. It doesn't mean you are going to easily kill someone like JMFJ.  There is a whole lot more to it than point and click.

After ready both yours and hubs  post I think both of you would appreciate the way JMFJ does the GV thing.  He's got a bunch of film from this last weekend battleing just like you describe.  Take him up on his offer I think you'll enjoy it.  Maybe we can get some solid GV battles going again.

the most fun you can have in a GV is in Jeep and M8.  You can use GCM to outmaneuver tanks and aircraft chasing you, and peashoot their pilots so they go away.

lol jmfj gvs are for dummys...thats why i enjoy them..u are a terrible camper despite the fact u do it all the time.....,im the only bk who likes to gv i think, however im   ADD ..mostly means i get sick of camping and go look for a fight, while most of u guys sit at a spawn for hours to rack up some killz..u are not a gv god despite your "ranking"   carry on and smooch :)
