I'll admit I was one of those guys who criticized HTC last week but as you can see they are really trying to work on issues that people are having. All I have to say to HTC is that you guys have my 15 a month for the rest of the year.

I gotta agree.  New patches are great and the HTC boys put alot into it.  So much more user friendly with text boxes.  Although the blasted newbies are making arty way points with me Cv's:furious .

All round good job and a step forward in the world of flight sims.  All the griefers should look ahead and not back.

Not so sure I agree.

Last week I finally got stick & keymaps back to where they were before this mess.  Logged in yest afternoon & got the new patch. Then got busy & had to walk away before I had a chance to check things.

Logged in last night to Fri night Squad ops, and the bloody game asked me if I wanted to convert my stick map, AGAIN. NO dammit!

Get the word and hit the runway & I have no throttle. Hmmm np shift + and I'm rolling. Thats when I realise I also have no joystick. Moving the stick moves my head position around the cockpit.

This in a one life event where I can't afford to prang it.

WTF is up with this? Since when to patch's erase stick & keyboard maps?

I'm seriously unhappy with this crap that I'm >< close to calling HT and chucking the whole works.

Ohh and all this is on a SIMPLE Ms Sidewinder prec 2 usb.

8 buttons no fuss no muss.

HTC you may have made the high end stick users happy. But you sure ticked me off to do it. And by the sound of it I'm not the only one.

Ghosth, its a long shot, but have you checked your stick file in the settings folder?

You should have a file in there for your stick (mine shows up as saitekX45).

Make sure it is not checked as read only.

I for one, would sure hate to lose you. It would leave a big hole in AH.

cheers,
RTR

All credit to sorting out the major bugs quickly.

Luckily enough I only had to remap throttle on my MS PP2.

Both the changes I questioned have been redone -
1) Mouse button
2) Primary/secondary weapons toggle.

So a big well done on that.

But surely there's some question on why it was released with exactly the same or similar bugs that were found during the beta test period.

Add to that there are still bugs floating around since AH1 (gear up mission bug), is the bug count going down or slowly rising?

I find this type of behavior from you unacceptable. You need to step away from the keyboard and reconsider what your saying.

Regardless of how lousy the gameplay is, how many bugs come along with a given patch, they'll always have my subcription. AH was always there when there was too much dam snow out my back door to do anything  better or too much rain coming down to risk drowning in my own back yard. Which seems to be the norm here lately.

Besides, the crapy game play brought about by the countless stupid people AH gets, isn't HTC's fault, its gods.

he had an opinion and he expressed it, what's so unacceptable about that? A lot of people were Irrate when they had to fix their joysticks for each patch. I hope that isn't going to be an ongoing thing.

When the game asked me if I wanted to convert my stick settings, I said yes.
Worked fine except for whatever I had mapped two functions to( i.e. flaps and shifting gears in a gv for example).
