Meeting AH peeps
« on: June 10, 2006, 01:24:47 PM »
All, Today I had the opportunity to meet Pipz. He lives in the town next to the town on my mail route. Literally, across the street. We linked up and talked AH for about 15 minutes. I was a bit limited in time because I did'nt want the Postal Gestapo to tell me I was wasting time chatting :)
He's a nice guy, had a good time talking to him. I hope someday, that maybe AH staff will consider a Con on the East Coast(Philly has a wealth of resources, and is very con friendly. Not to mention the Historical stuff). It would give us ppl on the East Coast a chance to meet more AH peeps :)

Dont Forget a West Coast Con..... San Francisco is absolutely beautiful this time of year. On top of that, there's world class food, plenty of clubs and bear halls, and a cool bridge to boot!

HOw many guys play aces high.  I have been searching for another player that lives in nyc.  The only guy that lives some what close to nyc in widewing, but he lives in the middle of long island.  If we had a good estimate on how many players live in each state it would be easier to pick a spot for a con.

If you live in a city people would recognize the name of, there are probably several AH players near you...if your in a major area, its likely dozzens.  Thats part of the fun of the CON, you get to meet people you share a common interest with.  Unfortunately, the CON is typically only attended by a very very small minority of the games players....ahh well.

Oz for lord's sake I hope he didnt sing for you.  He has tried to hold a concert but he had to charge $.01 per ticket, if he charged $.02 no one would go.  At that concert he also had to pay for the tomatoes to be thrown at him. :lol
