stick mapping
« on: June 11, 2006, 07:05:10 AM »
before 2.8  I had the trigger(fire button) mapped to fire all guns  and after toggling to ord  i could use trigger to drop bombs and fire off rockets too.  Now  that mapping is not possible, or at least I can't seem to figure it out now.  Anyone able to accomplish this with 2.8??  thanks!

Go into Options, Controls, and Map Controlers screen.  Press your fire button twice in a row and a popup will open.  Select Global then Fire All Guns selection, then OK.

Thanks  but I did that already before submitting this thread and  it was not successful.  Any other ideas?

Your right, Fire all Guns is not the same as the old Fire Both.  Fire all Guns, just fires all guns, if they are selected.  Not sure I see the logic in this one.  Seems like we took a simple step backwards on this feature.

Sorry,

Gunner noprob,  haven't had to remap stick in long but since 2.8 arrived thought I was losing my mind not being able to get bombs and rockets mapped.  Hopefully HTC is fixing this next patch (not holding breath).

To drop bombs you will have to use fire secondary.

ok,  that can be done if 2 commands can be mapped to my trigger which at this point cannot.  Unless I missed something.
