C 205 for fighting in something fun.
Escort would be P-51D or P-38L.
110 or P-47's for CV's or ground Targets.
La7, Hurricane or almost any Jap. plane if enemy is trying to cap base.
Intercepting bombers P-38L, Fw109's or 110's if you can catchem in it.
Off of Carrier and probably best all aroung fighter F-4 Corsairs.
Bomber B-24

Bozon
Mosquito VI - twice the spitfire, four times the ENY.

The P-38.  Honestly, why would anyone else want to fly anything else than the Lightning?

I'd have a better chance in running into a Dodo Bird in the middle of rush hour, walking down the I-5 with two hookers in tow before I see a useful post from glock89- Ack-Ack

It's not YOU he's getting out of the way of.

Well, he is, but only to avoid the barrage of .50cal and 20mm fire headed your way.

Anyway, the more I fly the FM2 the more I love it. I just need to convince my crew chief to strap a couple RATOs on it. :-P
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Spitfire Mk VIII - The most refined of all Merlin Spitfires.

Ki-84 - Best Japanese fighter and a delight to fly.

Mosquito Mk VI - The history of the aircraft just makes it fun for me.

You could but you'd be wrong and in denial of the glaring truth that is staring at you in the face.
