ack-ack,

It is that kind of hubris that makes me want to fly anything but a P-38.

Honestly, it is just gallingly insulting and dismissive to anybody who has other favorites.

Hmm lets see 38, 38, 38, 38, and ummmmm the 38.

Occasionally ill fly a temp, 262, or 51.  A chog or u4 hog off a cv and a nik for those nasty situations.

ack-ack,

How about you try to avoid being an bellybutton about it.  Say what you like without insulting everybody else.  It is simple:

P-38:  Classic fighter that can do everything well and is a lot of fun.

See, that says what you like without the need to be a ******* about what you think about other people's choices.

Fighters: Il-2, Yak-9, and P-47D-25
Bombers: B-17G
Attackers: Il-2 and Stuka
Vehicles: Tiger and M-16

The Il-2's a blast in FT; everybody ignores you until you kill someone. Then they're all over you, fighting for their lives! :D

A Rook who first flew 09/26/03 at the age of 13, has been a GL in 10+ Scenarios, and was two-time Points and First Annual 68KO Cup winner of the AH Extreme Air Racing League.

You would think that with all the time you've spent on these boards, you'd learn how to spit out a hook.

I love pretty much every single-engined American plane, with a special affection for the F4U1 Corsair, and, of course, Mustang (B-Model preferred, but only when I have a good aimin' day :) )

38's also rock, but don't really suit my usual flying style.  That said, with a wingy or two, they can make for some great moments.

I'd have a better chance in running into a Dodo Bird in the middle of rush hour, walking down the I-5 with two hookers in tow before I see a useful post from glock89- Ack-Ack
