Just make it like you have for friendlies.  

If you see a message that someone else collided with you it means they took the damage, not you. Do not change the collision model, it is the perfect compromise the way it is now.

If you were dangling from a chute the only collision you need to worry about was between your plane and the enemy's bullets.
